Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using CPHN ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. CPHN is operated by Winvestour LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, and is subject to the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable United States federal law.

2. Description of Service

CPHN is a real-time news aggregation platform that collects and displays content from publicly available third-party news sources. The Service offers:

• International news feeds — articles from 500+ global outlets covering your selected country.
• Local news feeds — articles from domestic sources in your selected country.
• Nearby countries & global agenda — regional and world news overviews.
• City news (PRO) — articles mentioning your detected city from any source.
• AI-powered analysis (PRO) — daily briefings generated by Anthropic Claude based on aggregated article content.
• 6-language translation (PRO) — article titles and descriptions translated via Google Cloud Translation.
• Social features — likes, comments, replies, reposts, and direct messages.

CPHN does not produce original journalism. All articles are sourced from third-party publishers and link back to their original source.

3. Plans and Restrictions

Free Plan

• Access to international news, local news, nearby countries, global agenda, and social features at no charge.
• Limited to 200 articles per 12-hour rolling window across all feeds. The counter resets automatically and is tracked in your browser; it does not sync across devices.
• City news, article translation, and AI analysis are not available on the Free plan.

PRO Plan

• All Free plan features with no article scroll limit.
• City news, 6-language article translation, and AI-powered analysis.
• Billed monthly ($4.99/month) or annually ($39.99/year, equivalent to 33% off monthly pricing).

4. Third-Party Content

All news articles displayed on CPHN are the property of their respective publishers. CPHN does not claim ownership of third-party content. A link to the original article is provided for every news item. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of third-party content. AI-generated analysis is based on aggregated article summaries and may not reflect the full context of any individual story.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

• PRO subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
• You may cancel at any time via the billing portal in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain PRO access until then.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. In exceptional circumstances, contact us and we will review your case.
• Annual subscriptions are billed as a single upfront payment and include a 33% discount relative to the monthly rate.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers via the email address on your account.
• Failure to pay (e.g. expired card) will result in automatic downgrade to the Free plan.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the platform beyond normal browser use.
• Share, sell, or transfer your account credentials to any other person.
• Post comments, wall content, or messages that are defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Use AI-generated analysis to intentionally mislead or deceive others.
• Attempt to circumvent the Free plan article limit by technical means.

7. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of comments, replies, wall posts, and messages you create on CPHN. By posting, you grant Winvestour LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute your content within the platform. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law, without notice.

8. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we may send you alerts about breaking news relevant to your selected country, as well as engagement notifications (comment likes, replies). You may disable push notifications at any time in the Settings page or your device/browser notification settings.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of news content or AI-generated analysis. News is sourced from third-party RSS feeds and APIs and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. AI analysis is generated automatically and should not be relied upon as a sole source for important decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Winvestour LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, reliance on any information provided, or inability to access the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
